I have sad news to share about a great Veteran
WWII Ace Frank Klibbe died at 3pm 4/26/08 while recovering from a stroke from 4/1 he had while driving and crashing into a orange grove at a T junction. He was the pilot of Little Chief and served in the 61 FS. He was born May 30, 1920 in Marion, Indiana. You can find photos on Littlefriends , and his online Obituary http://steversonhamlinhilbish.com/obituary.aspx?MemberId=41712&MName=Col.%20Frank%20W.%20Klibbe (http://steversonhamlinhilbish.com/obituary.aspx?MemberId=41712&MName=Col.%20Frank%20W.%20Klibbe)
Hes accomplished more than I could say here
<S> Col. Klib and thank you for all you done

What a sad coincidence. I've just lately received the diecast P47 model that he flew .
Sadly another from the greatest generation has passed.
He and his like will be missed :salute

The print and autograph that I have of him will definately be more cherished now. Great man as all from that generation are.
