Spitfire MkVB BM316, coded AU-A, No. 421 Sqn RCAF, May 1943.  Flown by S/L J.D. Hall.

Standard Dayfighter scheme.  Aircraft named 'Smokeater III'.  McColl-Frontenac was the squadron sponsor during the war and all squadron aircraft carried the oil company's logo as nose art.
