Title: So whats the next Scenario

     Africa Corps is almost over and the Med league is on stand by. Is their going to be another Scenario in the Med after Africa? This Scenerio is really put together well and it's a great resource for learning about formation flying,Bombing tactics.   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

NHFoxtro, Scenario's of the scale of Afrika Corps are a huge undertaking. You can't even believe how much work goes into one, until you've actually done it.

My guess is that the next "bigone" won't happen until spring some time, but thats only a guess.

Thanks Verm,I kind of figued it was alot work, but I can wait till the spring. Then maybe you can do a Midway. The Navy should be here before then I hope.

Hey guys,

The multi-frame CM team is going to be meeting before Christmas to start the planning on the next scenario. Like Verm indicated, it's a huge undertaking, so it will likely be March or April before the next one.

We'll be choosing the next scenario based on a myriad of things, among them available planeset, available terrain, balance issues, ground vehicles, rules, CM tools, etc...

After a short vacation, the team is going to get busy and get moving on the next one.

Considering the planeset we will have in 1.05, a Pacific scenario doesn't seem feasible.  No IJAAF aircraft and no Japanese bombers of any sort.

Likewise we don't have the planes to do an Eastern Front scenario.  Need at least Sturmoviks and T-34's to do that one right.

But we do have all the planes for a 1944 8th AF vs. Jagdwaffe scenario.  With ships and landing craft we could also do Overlord.

And remember the Med map is BIG.  We could easily do the invasion of Sicily and/or Italy.
