Title: Reload when you land?

Every one knows that when you land you have to end sortie to get your victories, and remount your plane. But if your just wanting to remount your plane and the base's ordinance is down, when you land there should be a button saying Remount, you can choose, 25%, 50% or 100% fuel, and then reload your ammo. I would definitely want this, sense almost every time the ordinance is down i have to end sortie to reload, and then i can't fly my plane again. I guess this idea just popped in my head...  :)

There is such a thing as a rearm pad, but it give you what you took off with

In AH, we "remount" sheep :D. We "rearm" planes.

It doesn,t matter if the ord is down at base.

If you hit the re-arm pad at the end of the runway,it will load up everything you had when you 1st "mounted" your plane.

I think it would be cool if when you landed and went to rearm pad that your kills were still landed but you could take off and continue your kill streak.  for example if you get 2 kills and rearm and then go up get 1 more and die you would get a total of 2 landed kills and 1 unlanded kill.

Nah... I prefer the kill system the way it is. It's your choice to land your two kills, or rearm and risk losing them all after getting shot down. Just part of the challenge.

Dame, i messed up the thread, rearm, not reMOUNT. Thanks for the spelling error that was missed 3 times.  :rolleyes:

The ability to change overall loadout for the plane at the rearm pad would be a cool addition.

HT said himself a long while ago that they "wouldn't be doing that", refering to changing loadouts on rearm.

Here's what our squad will do to anticipate the use of ord upon rearm. Take your full load for the mission and then bombs, drop your eggs before lifting, that way if you land and rearm you'll have bombs on even if the ord is dead. In the FSO's we have to do this type of pre planning all the time as you never know if you'll need some eggs to clean up after your bombers go in. Many times we've had fighter escort duty that didn't require drop tanks or ord but we would start with one or the other so that if we landed and rearmed we would have the option regardless of whether our ord was dead or not.
