New dell vista inspiron 530 processer with alot of memory just arrived! its got duel 8300 Geforce cards! :rock
Now im downloading all my salvaged hard-drive memory from old cpu to this one! I'll be back on AH tonight once its all done! Cya'll in the skies <Salute> :salute

its considered an entry level graphic card, mainly for those want a graphic accelerator but not top end stuff like Nvidia 8800 or 8600.
Not really made for games better then Aces High but im sure it can handle decent graphics.

I mean the display resolution, in pixels... my 17" displays at 1280 by 1024, my new 22" monitor will display at 1600 by 1050 (once I get it...). Yours looks to be displaying at a really low resolution (especially considering the SS fits in my screen!).
The SS is 1024 by 768, thats really low unless you resized it.
Also, since you got a new computer, or upgraded your current or whatever it is you did, you may want to uninstall IE and download FireFox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/). It has a spell checker among other things :aok

Not all Nvidia dual cards are SLI. Some are actually dual cards, single slot solutions such as the ATI 3870 x2 or like my girlfriend has in her machine, 8800GTX Ultra x2 card. No SLI or in the ATI's case Crossfire but rather built into the dual cards themselves. They're also referred to as hybrid cards.

Hey Zoo, I remember you reading that you liked that shot & were going to use it as a background. When I posted it, I had resized it to 800x600 to fit the boards nicer. I still have the original in 1064x768 & can resize it to whatever you need to fit your screen perfectly & crystal clear. Just pm me what size ya want. I can also send you the the unedited shot if u want(I know u like to mess with em too). Let me know whenever.

The 8300 is not an SLI card ... nor do I think that it's "dual" x2 on board the card.
For the 8300 to use NVIDIA's Hybrid technology, he would have to have the 8300 motherboard ... then add another NVIDIA card.
