Well...it's not really that smart to post saying "I want teh P61z!"
Maybe some info, production numbers, squadrons, etc.

My post from Feb of 07...hehe good info on the 61.

I already post a thing about this already you don't need to bring it up again you should only do that with the b29.

There were 3 variants of the Blackwidow, the A, B and the definitive C model. Unfortunately, the C model arrived in too late to see combat and it is also the variant that featured the black paint job, unlike the A and the B models.
ack-ack

But since the C model didn't fly in the war I didn't add it. Thank you for bringing that up btw.
I thought all the P61 series had the glossy black paint?
-
I'm sure there might have been a couple of instances were a few A and B models were given the black paint job on the field but the C was the only one to come out of the factory with the black paint.
This is the paint scheme that the A and B models were given.

rgr, but man thats a bad looking plane

I do believe this is an A, and it is very black as of D-Day.

They may not have come from the factory in black, but I have found many images that indicate A's and B's were painted black in significant numbers while being flown during the war.
This aircraft simply isn't needed in any way shape or form... but it is so cool, it should be in the planeset anyway.
Given some people like to fly A-20s and B-26s like they are fighters, why wouldn't there be a sizable number of people flying this plane?
Kind of like a slower Mosquito and maybe a tad more maneuverable?
-
Like a mosquito only with gunners :)
-
I would like to see it added but not yet, there a many more planes that need to be added before it. The Russian and Japanese plane sets are severly lacking so I'd like to see more of those aircraft before we get more American iron. :aok

And slower.
