I have been getting a FREQUENT screenfreeze/machinefreeze then a connection lost and disco since Vista SP1 was installed. Check my stats and you will see that I have more disco's in the last week that I had the last TWO TOURS!!
Is anybody else having the same problem, and if so is there a solution short of un-installing sp1 (not an option) ?
Please help!!! This issue makes Aces High unplayable. I can't go more than 1/2 hour before I get frozen and disconnected, usually when I'm RTB with kills to land (naturally).
This problem exists (for me) in all the LW arenas.

UPDATE:
I am re-dowloading/re-installing the game... I will post the success/failure of this act of desperation in this thread.

Complete re-install of aces high did not resolve the problem.

I know it doesn't help now, but I live by the creed "If it ain't broke, don't mess with it!". I won't change any of my drivers, or update any software, including windows, unless I run into a problem.
In your case by updating windows you most likely have reset all the things you tweaked to get vista to play nice. Your going to have to go through all of the "vista tweaks" listed in the vista thread.
Good luck !

I was afraid of that... :(

Try turning off windows defender and Smartboost. There are several things that your can do to optimize. Just google Vista tweaks.
Also since it is now hot, make sure your video card or CPU isn't overheating. you can check this by removing the side of the case and placing a fan facing in. If the problem clears it's heat.

Did you install AH as Administrator? Click on I.E. and click on run as administrator, find the game and download? I know it sounds stupid but i had a similar problem after sp1 and once i installed the game as mentioned above it worked fine. Also make sure you turn off all anti-virus, ad blockers ect.... I had spyware doctor for years but since their last update i had to dump it from my system as it caused AH to crash/disco.
