Title: VMF-251 Decorations for 6 June, 2008

I'm having some problems with the squadron website, so unfortunately don't have any fancy certificates to display this time, however VMF-251 would still like to announced the following decorations have been issued:

In accordance with squadron regulations, the Presidential Unit Citation has been issued to all participants of VMF-251, for the downing of 20 or more enemy aircraft in one frame

Additionally, the following individual pilots: MEF4UD, Saxman and Drazz, in accordance with squadron regulations, have been awarded the Air Medal for downing at least 5, but less than 10, enemy aircraft in one frame.

Finally, for their actions in the frame, and the total destruction of the enemy bombers of the strike package bound for C22, VMF-251 has awarded the Legion of Merit to the Army of Muppets. This award comes in two degrees: Officer for the squad commander during the frame, and Legionnaire for the pilots under his command.

Soon as I can straighten out the site issues I'll post the actual certificates.
