I have to ask where RPM was at that time.

Was this the one that was being renovated?

Says so in the article. Shame such a nice home like that should get burned down by someone if it's true that it was arson. I was in Austin about 2 years ago and stopped by the capital building and it was quite nice, but didn't have a chance to see the governors mansion while I was there.
-
That's a shame. I'm glad no one was hurt and the contents were not inside at the time.

All state governors are homeless prior to coronation, so it's a good thing their subjects cough up the money to support mansions for their royalty.

If the one in IL burns, dont have to worry about the gov bring there or not. To him, Chicago is the states capital

Are you talking about Buttholevich or Daley? :D

Buttholevich
Everythng north of springfield should be North Illinois and from springfield to cairo should be south Illinois, with the capital in Vandalia

I'd go for that in a heartbeat, though I might prefer the dividing line a little farther north, about I-80.
In either case, we would need to keep Decatur. :cry

I say cut out Illinoy and give it to Canada.

Yeah. I-80 and up would work.
