who said obama has done nothing in his two years in congress?
Senator Barack Obama on Thursday released a list of $740 million in earmarked spending requests that he had made over the last three years, and his campaign challenged Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to do the same.
the list included $1 million for a hospital where Mr. Obama’s wife works, money for several projects linked to campaign donors and support for more than 200 towns, civic institutions and universities in Illinois.
change? sounds like politics as usual.

Strange, and I thought all this time it was the job of a Senator to get money for his state from the Federal govt. Last time I looked he was still a Senator of Illinois so your point is what exactlly?

Hoping for change...

That's what it has evolved into, though I don't think the Founders had that in mind

Daley would be proud. Change the money from the tax payers to his supporters. He really is like clinton isn't he.

It's a senator's job to make laws. You are dead wrong.

And only one Senator running for President refuses to vote for legislation padded with earmarks. He voted down legislation to help Louisiana wetlands and came down to Louisiana to explain how bloated with earmarks the legislation was. Oddly enough, its the same Senator that has bi-partisan support. Hint - it ain't Obama the talker.

The first thing I thought when I read the thread title was...
"Dayem Michelle, Let loose of em!"
But I realize now that this is not the case.
Never mind.

They must be on his right ear.

he is changing the hope. It is fortunate that the mush heads that are so fond of him can't be bothered to vote.
