Title: Help W. Mac
Post by: cav58d on June 08, 2008, 03:30:38 PM
I just purchased my first Mac, and everything is great so far, aside from one problem I have with America Online.  I am unable to use the aol search, view photos in mail or member information.  all that I get is a blank page with an asterick in the top left corner.  Anyone else have this problem, or know a fix?

I agree but Mac gets all Judo secret squirrel on you when you try to hit him with a sledge hammer. He's awful spry for his age.

I use Firefox most of the time.  No problems with anything.  Don't know nuttin' about AOL. :)  You can always do the Bootcamp thingy and run under windows.  I've been playing around with that a little bit.

I'm currently trying to get AH2 running on my Macbook.  Framerates are reasonable once I get in game, but the log in windows are slightly problematic.

Not to stereotype or anthing, but hasn't it been documented that people who use MacIntosh computers drive Euro cars, criticize but clandestinely covet guns, vote Demo, sip obscure white wines, and then can't understand why their <10% market share does not evoke the support enjoyed by the >90% other computer users?

Yes exactly, the Mac is the perfect, "Computer" for an alternate lifestyle.   Not that there is anything wrong with that.  ;)
