Title: How are buff sorties scored?
Post by: LJK Raubvogel on March 07, 2001, 06:10:00 AM
How are kills in a buff tracked? Last night I was defending A17 in a B26. I scored 3 kills of Gvs, got 2 air kills, and landed. A few more sorties, and I got 3 more kills. Earlier that night when bombing a VH I got another kill. Thats 9 kills in 1 night in buffs. I exit, check my score, it says 4 kills? Whats up with that? Does it only count A2A kills?

yes only A2A. I don't know why. You can see your corect kill ammount for the plane in the kill stats

Monday I flew a sortie in a B-17 and I got 6 kills before dying.  When I used .score in the tower it only showed 3 kills in buff stats.  Checking the stats on the website I have 6 kills in the B-17 and 6 kills in the TBM.

Was gonna post it in the bugs board this morning til I saw this thread.

So basically its worthless to bomb ground vehicles? Hmm...thats something that really should be fixed.
