Title: Mic sounds tunneled and scratchy
Post by: Getback on June 08, 2008, 09:19:17 PM: Anyone know of any cures for this?

I'm thinking of putting in a new sound card and ditching the onboard sound. Before I spend any more bucks I thought I would ask for help first.

Dont click the HD speaker,just the small gray one.

Post by: BaldEagl on June 09, 2008, 11:17:05 PM: Or go to control panal, sounds and audio devices and click the voice tab. Then under voice recording select test hardware. It will walk you though it from there. You might want to adjust volumes and see if it works better with or without mic boost (which is in advanced at the volume settings).
