Considering some of his endorsements and some of the nonsense coming out of Trinity Church celebrating Louis Farrakhan, will Obama have a problem with the Jewish vote? How do you feel about the fact that anti-semitic rhetoric is remaining on the blogs of the official Obama web site?
http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2008/06/08/will-media-report-anti-semitic-article-obamas-website
Here's one quote from a post the remains on Obama's official web site
It is time for Israel to stop oppressing and killing Palestines. The real danger in the Middle East is not Iran, Syria or Pakistan, but Israeli Occupation Forces, and not Iran.

Read it quick because I'm sure it will be deleted soon.

If his middle name was Hitler American Jews would still vote for him because there's a D in front of his checkbox on ballot. Liberals arent exactly Israel's best friend, but Jews here don't seem to have much in common with Israelis

You do realize, that these are not Obama's stated views...but those of people posting on the Obama website BBS? It would be like one of us posting on McCain's website BBS to do something about putting an end to the NAACP or something of that nature. It's the posters, not the candidate himself...
Now, if Obama had made the statements himself, THAT would be another matter.
And, if the NewsBusters' story, and NewsBusters' itself, wasn't so blatantly biased, It would be alarming. As it is, it's just yellow journalism. It would be more believable if it came from a more non-partisan mainstream source.

Well, it's difficult not to notice that a lot of his closest associates are black nationalists, for whom the Panthers aren't a mediocre football team

Show me one political candidate that doesn't have dirty ties in anything, and I'll show you a guy that, while the best choice, has not one hope in hell of gaining an office.
However, I seriously doubt he'll get any of the Jewish vote anyway. I'd wager that his Muslim background will see to that.

Yes I do understand the posts are written by supporters. Are you saying they leave all posts up? I don't think they do. I think they delete some posts. Why are they leaving the anti-semitic posts? They're not leaving the anti-NAACP posts. Can you find one?

What do you suppose is the reason they leave it up? Maybe Obama's more worried about the contreversy of having something questionable removed, even if it's by a contributor, than whatever it's content. My guess is, if anyone asks' him about it, he'll just simply point out that no matter what people say on his website, he's not gonna show that he's some tight fisted, censorship-and-control hack. If he leaves' it up, and defends' that persons right to free speech, He might pull some votes' outta the deal.
And if you look at this link, you decide which of these are pro or anti-NAACP.http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/search?q=NAACP (http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/search?q=NAACP)
You know, alot of people, on this BBS and other places, cannot understand why Obama's doing as well as he has. I didn't think he'd make it to the primary, let alone clinch the nomination. Can anyone here state why he's had so much success?

besides being seen as an anti semite.. he is seen as being very bad for israel.. This may be the first time that liberal American jews don't vote base on the big "D" at the end of a name.

It isn't like this is blogspot.com.....this is a presidental campaign site. There's several HUNDRED posts just spewing vial hatred. Perception is reality folks and a link to this groups however weak is still a link. He needs to get a "Skuzzy-esq" moderator and fast.

Not sure where you got the bogus link or the quote from. I can't find anything like it on Obama's site.
I did find this with no trouble though:
On Israel
Ensure a Strong U.S.-Israel Partnership: Barack Obama strongly supports the U.S.-Israel relationship, believes that our first and incontrovertible commitment in the Middle East must be to the security of Israel, America's strongest ally in the Middle East. Obama supports this closeness, stating that that the United States would never distance itself from Israel.
Support Israel's Right to Self Defense: During the July 2006 Lebanon war, Barack Obama stood up strongly for Israel's right to defend itself from Hezbollah raids and rocket attacks, cosponsoring a Senate resolution against Iran and Syria's involvement in the war, and insisting that Israel should not be pressured into a ceasefire that did not deal with the threat of Hezbollah missiles. He believes strongly in Israel's right to protect its citizens.
Support Foreign Assistance to Israel: Barack Obama has consistently supported foreign assistance to Israel. He defends and supports the annual foreign aid package that involves both military and economic assistance to Israel and has advocated increased foreign aid budgets to ensure that these funding priorities are met. He has called for continuing U.S. cooperation with Israel in the development of missile defense systems.

I did find this with no trouble though:
MT, how can we foster the fear and hatred the Republicant Sheeples need to defeat Obama if you're going to confront us with facts?

Oops.. my bad.
He's Once, twice, three times a muslim!!??

I'll give you a hint about how to tell if a Jew will vote for Obama. It's not definitive, but it's a strong hint.
If a Jew finds no problem with buying / owning a German Car, much like the German Cars that were made in German Work Camps in WW2, then they'll have no problem voting for a Democrat.

Most of the younger urban liberal Jews I know think Obama is the first coming and there is nothing that is going to change that. They respect Israel but it would be a secondary issue to the social progressive platfrom. Among the more conservative Jews I know (still fairly liberal overall) I imagine there will be some backlash, depending upon what the synagogues push.
I have no idea of the breakout of demographics though, nationally. My focus group is fairly small and very much one of the middle class urban/suburban Chicago area :)

Well it does look like they are cleaning the sit up a bit. Most of the posts that were found by LGF have thus dissapeared.

If you want to play games MT, I can do that too. You know very well they deleted the post that had remained from June 5th. I warned in my first post the links would soon be deleted. I've always treated you fairly in debates. Don't you dare insinuate I'm using "bogus links." The Newsbuster article still has the links to those posts in its article. So instead of addressing the real issue of leaving anti-semitic posts on his web site for 3 days , you decide to say I'm lying about it? Aren't you a pip.
On second thought - lay on that tactic. It suits you well, and is ineffective.
I tell you what won't be deleted. Obama dragging Lieberman across the Senate floor to scold him. That was a dumb arse move.
I'll deal with you differently in the future. In spite of your facade, you are not on a high road. I'm ok with that too.

None of those are anti-NAACP. I can't find any anti-trial lawyer. No anti-black, no anti Wright, anti-Ayers. But as was posted, there were anti-Israel posts left on the site. Now I can't believe that not one person, troll or not, posted a anti black, anti Wright or even anti Ayers post. Those posts were deleted. It took a news article from a national site (Newsbusters) to make them delete their anti-Israel and anti-Semitic posts. Liberal deception at its best?
