Pulled this from my films yesterday. Odee set's two zekes on fire in one pass. It's too pretty not to post the full sized version. :)

See, that's why when you're a wingman you shouldn't be on your leads hip! You'll just die together. :)
In the movies they fly on each others hip like it's an air show. That's just so they can both be in the shot.
In actual combat, you need your separation.
from the after action report though it actually sounded like a finding nemo moment. They were both swooping in trying to get a kill and both got killed for it.

Actually the film shows one Zeke closing on Odees squadmate. One zeke at a higher alt engaged with another P-39D The higher zeke took some hits and was pulling a split-S. His split-s crossed into Odee's sights right just behind Odees intended target. It doesn't appear that they were wingmen at all.
