But the universal healthcare is much easier. They'll manage.
Maybe they should put Obama in charge of their restaurant. He'll change/fix it. After all, he already has a solution to high gas prices.
-
Every single thing any government ever touches gets diddlyed up beyond recognition. Why is tomorrow going to be any different?
-
yep just because every other government program.. or.. everything that they touch... is screwed up doesn't mean that they will screw up something as simple as a national socialist healthcare system.

What they really care about:
But Feinstein's efforts to change the system ran into obstacles from four Democratic senators: Robert Menendez of New Jersey, Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, Barbara Mikulski of Maryland and Sherrod Brown of Ohio, who questioned whether current workers would face lower wages, reduced benefits and be deprived of union representation.
Who cares that it costs the tax payers nearly 2 million a year....these 96 people need a union!

It seems the dems should be very comfortable with this solution. It's the same one they intend to use for the tax payers.
"A private review commissioned by Feinstein found that the Senate operation had no strategy for improvement other than price increases."
-
Kind of ironic that the call for privatization came from the Democrats... no wait, the ironic thing is Maverick trying to make a political point and stepping in a pile of oops.
-
not near so ironic when you realize that the plan ran into opposition from 4... count em...4 democrats who were worried that the overpaid and shoddy workers who were sucking the life out of the business would get paid what they were worth... That they would lose all the free money.

Four! 4!?? Are you sure it was that many?
My god man!

four very powerful democrats.. old school liberal socialist ones... ones you get all wet about normally. The who's who of commies.
Now.. contrast that with the number of powerful republicans in opposition....
