So I was somewhat bothered the other day when after we had sunk every boat in the fleet they were still able to spawn out lvts with troops and such, doesnt make much sense. Then i got to thinkin, what if you could disable a fleets troops/supplys by sinking a nice looking troop ship ie a liberty ship or somthin. It would look really sick to have some cruisin around in the fleet. Thoughts?

Makes decent point though about how silly it is to have PTs and LVTs uppin when the ships have all been sunk.

Whats the difference between this and barraks on a base? Atleast this thing will be able to take a couple 1,000Ibs of bombs and be able to defend itself then some easy to kill barraks that doesn't even have a way of defending itself.
More ships in the fleet is a plus in my book.

This should go in the bugs section? I'f it's the Ozkansas map and happened on Titanic Tuesday i was on the shore battery during that and couldn't believe it. I was under the impression that once all ships were dead that was it, no more pt/lvt spawns, is that true or false?

How about if CV and Cruiser are dead, then you can't spawn LVT's. As long as there's 1 destroyer still afloat you can spawn PT's.
Just throwing out ideas.

You need to go check out some of those ships firepower. ;)

More targets are always good. ;)

Task force needs a support fleet. Carriers may be able to cross pretty good distances, but those cruisers and destroyers need to be refueled or they are going to be sitting someplace. Same goes for expendables such as bombs and ammunition both on defensive guns and on planes.
Support fleet should be at least 4 - 8 oilers, and about the same in cargo or liberty ships.
Preferably with just 1 or 2 destroyers for escort. And about half the speed of a carrier group.
The destroyers should be older models with no 5" guns, possible some 3" max.
And along with that we need options to
A run at same speed as support fleet
B run at max speed for a limited time.
C Stop (to refuel, rearm)

add more realistic damage too, disable fighters, bombers or ord depending were u hit the cv, resuply aircraft/boats would be nice 2

So I have not seen a single bad thing about this on here, and it opens up a world of opertuntiy for what could be doen with the fleet, I really hope to see this done in the future
