Title: Latino V.P.?
Post by: wrongwayric on June 12, 2008, 06:05:00 PM: I've kind of wondered if O'bama will try to get a latino/mexican american V.P. running mate? Other than a female V.P. that would be the only other power race/gender i think that he could pick. Just a thought to ponder.

the one thing he has going against him is his race.
There are still enough people out there that wont vote for him due to his race already.

Anyone other then a white VP is going to draw a negative reaction from the racial fence sitters.
That is those who may not be entirely crazy about having a black pres. But are so disgusted with the status quo they are willing to give him a shot.

This is one of Obamas greatest assests.

Mccain doesnt represent anything new.
