I think that players should get paid for kills.
We can do this in one of two ways:
1.) Flat fee per kill (the fee can be directly dependant on the type of aircraft downed)
2.) Profit sharing scheme where money awarded is a fraction of the total profits of HTC, for that given month, as determined to the ratio of the given player's total kills to the total kills logged by all players.

nice try
instead how about we get unlimited hours of entertainment for say_____________
I don't know_______________
less than $15 a month and all you have to do is log on when ever you want to play and on top of that they can give us some perk points for shooting down other players to enable us to take out uber rides.

WHY? - What would the advantage of this be? Sure, the players would get money, but WHY? WHY would HTC want to do this? WHY would HiTech Creations want to pay us for this?

Question for you Yossarian...
When you watch Southpark--are you one of those people that's constantly pointing out how unrealistic it is that Kenny dies in almost every episode?

I believe we have a new candidate for the poster child for the 'FGSSMTFPTSTIUF'* Foundation.

Yes, and here it is - Yeeesh! This is probably about the most poorly thought out idea I've ever seen posted on the wishlist - and I mean EVER - and that's saying a lot. I could spend the rest of the day pointing out why it's utterly ridiculous, but am not going to bother.
But ... it did trigger an idea that I'll put forth in another thread.

Man oh man... How far does one have to go to make a joke around here?
I always appreciated subtle humor myself, but figured that this was pretty much too outwardly absurd to be taken seriously. Wrong again.
Ghastly, how about you spend the rest of the day wrapping your mind around the fact that this post was meant to amuse. Who knows, you might be done around 9-10 pm. That'll leave you a couple more hours to realize that those moving images you watch on TV are sometimes make believe.
-
Slipknot, the problem is that in order to be understood as humor purely by content, the content itself has to be far enough outside of the vale as to be obviously intended that way.
And unfortunately, as ridiculous as the idea you put forth may be, it's just not that ridiculous when compared to some of the other things folks have genuinely requested.

Lucidly (not to mention diplomatically) stated, Ghastly.

I don't watch Southpark :D :D
But yes, you do have a point.

Yea, but why would HTC wanna be giving up money that they had made and could use to make the game better?? Seriously. And what does Southpark have to do with Aces High?
:huh :huh :huh :noid :furious

GREAT IDEA......BUT.....
No "profit sharing" poop. Flat fee for a kill and a flat fee (double that for a kill) for a death.
If you really like this idea...we can talk about you buying the swamp land I have on the Texas Gulf coast...... :aok

Now I know how a fisherman feels when he sets that hook and nabs the big one. :D

thats what perk points are for we get kills we get points duh

Actually, as far fetched as this idea sounds it actually has some merit. The establishment of an AH tourney of some sort, with cash prizes could be a huge marketing coup, especially if it got proper media exposure/response.
I saw something on TV over the past few weeks where some other game was doing this, with teams spending hours training for it.
Again, with proper marketing and publicity, whatever the prize cost, I bet HT would have a pile of new subscribers. People wanting to get in on the action.
