Title: B17 PILOTS COULDN'T GUN ?

Keep quiet guys,
it'is not a provocation..

I liked AW3 Bombers gun manning,
the pilots could ONLY drive & bomb

If they want gunners have to recruit them.

One  gunner could only fire 1 gun position a time.

Well I've written my opinion, we are democratic (or not?)

Sorry AXE, but whats wrong with a single gunner spraying 0.50s all around from 2-3 gunner positions all togheter AND driving his truck with feet?

We still lack the possibility to aim, drop bombs, drop leaflets, drop chaffs, drop flares, firing rockets, launch grenades and drop paras ... all from the tail gunner position  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

I agree with Axe. AW bombers are the best ive seen just because they got human gunners.

In AH a buff could be placed with otto with the same firing AI as the fields, give the otto unlimited ammo and allow the human gunner to switch between guns and when he fires THEN the ammo is wasted.

I prefer to have a stupid otto firing at me  with one smart human gunning ONE of its guns than having superconverging turbolasers killing my d1.2+ fighter at a hard angle with one ping.

Yeah...those days when you would get 6 of your squaddies to gun a "DeathStar" for you were a blast. Never did you see an "AckStar" unless there were atleast 3 gunners in the plane with the pilot. This is one of the few things I miss about AW.

Before you wish for otto, talk to a few people who fly WBs or read AGW.  They've been tweaking otto for years and they've never been able to satisfy most.
