It is INteresting that you say that. I would like hitech or someone to comment on the status of combat tour but i wouldn't demand they tell me or INsult them for not telling me. I wonder if this was actually worth posting in.

So up untill a few months ago, the P39 wasn't. Does that mean it was never going to happen? Look now. Just because it takes 7 years, doesn't mean it will never happen

Where are you folks coming up with "7 years". A number of internet based HTC Combat Tour (Tour of Duty) press releases are dated 2006.

Think of CT like Texas BBQ Brisket.... whenit's done; it's done.  :devil

Actually it was originally set to be released in 3rd quarter of 2003. So that's 5 years ago.

in my opinion the combat, TOD, whatever will be stillborn. the whole concept smacks of something as much fun as watching paint dry.  I know I for one will never bother with it, I couldn't care less if it ever debuts.  with regard to my fellow posters chiming IN, why would a legitimate question posed by a member be the basis for wanton censorship?

 :rofl

OMG for the first time ever, I'm finding myself in total agreement with Storch.  Perhaps it's just this crazy weather related disasters and the thought of the world ending  on 12/21/12 as predicted by the Mayan calender ending on that date.  I don't know what it is but keep up the good work Storchie <S>.

Funny thing is that the same people that complain about not having new versions, are also the same ones to complain when their machine can't handle the extra speed or bandwidth required.  I'd rather have good gameplay than pretty graphics that you don't even notice after a couple of days.  Also consider that the current set-up runs good, with relatively few problems, and at a relatively low cost to run for HTC.  This results in a decent subscription price.   :aok

I am particularly fond of his obvious athleticism, here.  Think of how difficult this was with a spray painted hair clip over his eyes!

Was the P39 being worked on for 7years?  :O

Sorry my post wasn't very clear. I was using the P39 as an example. Just because we haven't had CT yet, doesn't mean that its never coming

And I thought that we might just have been turning the page here.  I'm all for offering the olive branch here and we just lay our old personality problems aside.  Well I still <S> you for for previous response as it's right on target.

IIRC, the Mission Theater concept (the origin of ToD/CT) dates back to 01, so it could be 7 years so far, if you include everything predating AH2, itself a result of work on CT.

Calling it vaporware on their website, on a Monday morning... probably not the best tactic.

I was just going to pass by, but I just cant ...

Dude, that avatar is ... retarded. What kind of idiot, non-gun owning artist decided the magazine goes on the barrel?

I saw a guy at work with a Tshirt that had the same artwork. He had no idea what I was talking about when I pointed it out.

As for the vaporware/ct ... who cares? you arent paying any additionial for its development, it'll come out when it comes out.

Oh no someone has spoken their mind!!!!!  Lets all tell him hes and idiot!  Come on guys hurry...bash him before they lock it..lets do stuff like pick on his avatar and call him stupid....AND MY GOD MAKE SURE YOU DON'T ADD ANYTHING CONSTRUCTIVE!!!!  Still room on the bandwagon for more leg humpers....oh and we have to call him a dweeb or noob can't forget that. :aok  The waaambulance comments are the best....if your gonna flame a post for someone asking a legitmate question...at least try to use some of your own material..or be creative...the 5th grade mentality on this board is worth the 15 bucks alone.

Looks to me that is a handle, not a magazine sticking out of the barrel, much like the one on a Thompson sub-machine gun

That is, indeed, a mag sticking out where it should not be.
