I seem to recall a HT post where he said his dad was in the silent service - subs - during WWII, and so has some personal interest in adding subs to AH.

Was a Navy Pilot before WWII and trained pilots for carrier duty during WWII. First flew F3F, biplane model before the F4F Wildcat. It's so great to hear him speak of what he has done over his life. He was in and knew some of the pilots that the TV show's do specials on. Look him up next time you guys are in the MA. He's quite the stick.
