That an ironic thing to say, sort of. My wife took this picture on a Girl Scout camping trip last week. She likes mushrooms and often chooses them when she takes pictures. She has degrees in architecture and interior design and has worked in both fields. Her comment on the original photo was, “I like these mushrooms because they are architectural.” Because of that comment I visualized them as little apartments and pictured cool little windows on their sides.

Have you upgraded to Photoshop yet? I can't imagine trying to do that in Paint.

I use Paint.NET
It does much of what Photoshop does but is free. it has an open source so everyone and their dog can write/add effects and tools for it.

Wow, I didn't even know about paint.net. Looks like a pretty good little application.
