i believe that being able to have a real time look at your own country's bases. for instance- if your rtb in bombers per say and you right click on a base you could  get a look from the top of the tower of dar. so u can see thats goin on there. :aokjust a thought

If you mean you are checking to see if the base is safe for you to land there, that is where the clipboard map/radar ring/darbar is functional enough for game purposes. Seems to be a bit cheesy to have a "virtual web-cam" at a base and a "monitor" in your aircraft. This is set in the 1940's, while still retaining enough game elements to make it fun for idiots like me.
