Post by: AKDogg on June 18, 2008, 04:18:47 PM
Orders will be sent out before Friday.  I had a major accident at work today which caused me to lose partial function on my left arm.  I work in a machine shop and A sst 304 stainless piece of material let lose and cut my muscles and tendings in my forearm.  I sending what I have so far to AKKaz so he can finish the orders and get them out.

God i hate typing with 1 hand.

My father works in a machine shop and works with stainless, he runs a Trumpf laser, he's always telling me about guys getting hurt pretty bad at work.

Are you going to need any surgury to get this fixed?  Well hope you get better man.

Getting things together as fast as we can, please bare with us.  Am on the phone as I type talking to him getting what he currently has and will get it finished and out soon.

Beleive it or not, be glad he didn't post the picture here as he did on our AK forum site.  Through all this he still just had to laugh at how he is making us all dizzy. ;)

Just got with Wxman over the phone, we should have the final orders out to all allied squads by tommorrow early to late afternoon.  Dogg sent us what he currently had as he was going to put everything together and finish them up tonight. I know this will be a tight fit for some, but as you know by now it could not be helped.

I hate losing the use of a limb. Broke my wrist last spring almost all the way through the ulna. But if you have feeling in your fingers then theres a great chance of regaining use of the limb 100%. Good luck with a speedy recovery!

Yeah your in for a challenge flying with one arm, I myself have no use of my right arm due to an accident years ago, it can be tricky trying to fly with only the use of one limb, the only suggestion I can give you is only set the things you really need to use as your buttons on your joystick, the things that you wouldn't want to let go of the stick to use, hopefully you have a joystick that has plenty of buttons.

Dang, I just read this.

Hope all is going to turn out well. Keep us posted.

Holler if you need some help with the orders. Also next time just shoot out an e-mail to all the C.O.'s on your side. Some will step in and help. No reason for anyone to still have to do the orders when "real life" gets in the way.  I can help during my few weeks off in the summer.
