Ya Iknow this is supposed to go in hardware. But I haven't got any help there yet.
I got a new stick and new rudder pedals, the pedals work fine but the stick doesn't work at all. The pedals installed under game controls and the stick installed under Human interface devices. I have no idea how to fix it or what to do, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but that did not help. Any advice would be great.

I am assuming that you have a CH stick and you are using the CH control manager. If this is the case, it will rename the sticks in the control panel and in AH to Device 1,2,3.
I'm not sure if any other brand of stick can cause this. Let me know if this helps...

Ranger more info is needed. What stick did you get? Did you install the drivers (installation cd)? What are your system specs? Do you know how much wattage your power supply is capable of?

We need more info Ranger. Are you talking about desktop or in game. If you don't see them at desktop I suggest you make sure they are plugged in correctly. I've done this myself. In the game you need to scroll down to see the controllers.

Every CH stick set I have ever used needed an external powered USB hub to work reliably if you have any other USB devices connected.
If the stick is calibrated in Windows, and calibrated in the game, and is properly mapped, and it does not work in the game, then that is a good sign you need an externally powered USB hub.
