The AH Las Vegas get together was kind of last minute.
Curnutte (John) of "Precision+", gwurzel (Gary)of "The Few", and myself ROX of "77th FS Gamblers" got together at The Rio in Las Vegas in February. It was a hoot! I was there with my wife for her birthday, Curnutte was checking out hot show girls and Gary & "the Missus" had been traveling all over the US. That day, Gary and his wife went to the Richard Petty Experience and drove a real NASCAR WAY too phreekin' fast (he can give details, and I will not spill the beans which one of them drove faster).
We all got together and enjoyed the Rio freebies.

We turned on the local Vegas TV news channel at the viseo poker bar
and they said that someone had parked a viking boat in the middle of the lake at The Billagio.
We didn't think anything odd until.............

That's when the fun REALLY begain!
John & Gary + Linda are GREAT folks, and it was truly an HONOR to meet them. :salute

:aok Looks like fun.....Heck its Vegas how could it not be fun?! :rock Where's the pics from the 24hr chapel? How about the gambling? who lost the most money? Elvis? ;)

Just met Rollins in vegas (hes a local) a couple months ago. He gave me the local experience with the looooong night of drinking finishing up at the Green Briar Resort. Wish i could remember more but......what a town! Escpecially when work foots the bill for a whole week at the Monte Carlo. You guys win any $$$$$?

We had a GREAT TIME!
We would have met Rollins as well but he got hung up at work (understandable).
Vegas is the perfect meeting place...free booze, free entertainment.
Gwurzel and curnutte are GREAT folks. They really made my trip!
Oh...to answer your question...I play video poker until about midnight, then go to Casino Royale across from the Mirage. I play craps (in a very methodical way) until about 4 AM. I usually win 2-300 a night.

Its funny cause ROX did do well and Gary played some but I got my behind kicked in video poker that night , But it was great to meet ROX and Wurzel and am looking forward to it again soon . Sorry we missed Rollins but as I go to Vegas alot hope to meet him soon . :rock :rock :rock

Cor, typical, take a few days off and pics get put up. Had a Great time meeting John and Rox, won some on the video poker (never played it before ;)). Nascar thing was awesome - even if the wife did a faster lap than me by 0.010 of a second......I did however comprehensively beat her on the first run (it was so much fun, had to go round twice...lol...)
<S> Rox, John, looking forward to doing it again sometime - after the big move completes at the turn of the year - can anyone say roadtrip :D
