Title: Can't go online

:( just got this game and played a bit offline to practice, but when i tried to go online it said i needed an update to play online. So i said yes to downloading the update but it just took me back to the clipboard on the main screen. When i said online again, it said i needed the update again. it never works. Help, please! I know i need an update, but the site says it should do it automatically. it prompts me to do so, but doesn't download the update. Thanks!

isn't vista. It's windows XP

What version of the game do you have installed?  It shows in the upper left corner of the startup screen.
