I am having trouble getting my joystick to work in windows vista. When I had XP, there were no controller issues and I ran modes one and two without a problem. Now, I cannot get vehicles to work, however airplanes work fine. Has anyone experienced this? I know... I know... Vista stinks blah blah... :rock please help if you know the answer, going back to XP is not a viable option. Thanks.

It would help if you told us what kind of stick, which vista etc..

Ah, yes... the Vista basic, came with my computer, home I guess. I use a logitec $25 twisty. Thanks...

First I'd suggest you go to logitec's website and see if they have any updated drivers.
You could go into control panel, game devices and see if vista has it listed,if so select it,
goto properties and see if you can calibrate it there.
1 other thing,is it a 32 bit version or a 64 bit version????

Fairly sure Vista Basic only comes in 32-bit.

Did you try copying mode 1 to mode 2 in the in-game controller set-up?

I had the same trouble with vista and my stick untill I copied mode 1 to mode 2, now it works fine. Controls>Map Controllers> Select Mode 2 in the drop down box and hit buton "Copy Mode 1". This should work fine <S>
