Aux contraire, mes ami! I have always found you to a most admirable opponent as well as an honorable player in the game.
:salute
And I'll help ya whack anyone that says otherwise in DA or AvA too.
-
Perhaps I am incorrect, but I have never seen you on the boards, much less mentioned in any AvA discussions to date, so perhaps you are mistaken. Second, no one has said anything about the pilot skill of any member of JG 54. The problem, as I see it, is that some members of JG 54 confuse skill at a video game with skill in interpersonal communication. They are separate and in no way relate to one another. Nice to meet you. :salute

Amen. How I long for the days of yore. Well before there was even a combat theater and 50 was a lot of people.

LOL pot meet kettle :aok
Trukk's not gonna be happy.

So, are you saying that we all suck because we don't fly like JG54. Talking about the kettle calling the pot black. Why is it the other day, a certain big mouth ran and hide in his own ack? I guess it is ok if JG54 does it but anyone eals and they are consider pathetic pilots.

here in Sweden just having the attitude that storch and some others in JG54 is displaying repeatedly, completely disqualifies you to ever come near a fighter a/c let alone be trained as a fighter pilot.
Sweden has fighter aircraft? :lol

Indeed we do, made by SAAB.

I don't care how good these guys are. As long as there is a complete lack of respect, they're not worth any of my time. They also have a way of insulting other players, sometimes the whole community. That approach will get you nowhere, kids learn those basic social skills in kindergarten yet these guys lack that understanding completely. Alternatively, they try very hard to make enemies in the community.
There are many others who feel the exact same way. I did not see this side of JG54 until I left them, so... perhaps that's what you have to do in order to really get to know them. I don't recall learning anything from these guys when I flew with them. What I learned during that time, was on my own. While I offered my knowledge to them, none were interested. To me, that was a clear sign that some individuals had no intention at all to learn from others, because they had a very clear idea themselves of what a "good pilot" was, or was supposed to be. That's not a good attitude if you want to develop your skills as a pilot, or as a person even.
Maybe you should get yourself some reference before boasting how JG54 is the best squad in the game, just a thought. Your post, while posted as a question, has traces of the JG54 attitude in it too, no doubt inspired by other members of your squad.
I don't know what the standards are in other countries, but here in Sweden just having the attitude that storch and some others in JG54 is displaying repeatedly, completely disqualifies you to ever come near a fighter a/c let alone be trained as a fighter pilot. It is so far from the spirit of the real Jagdfliegern, that it makes me... (http://hem.bredband.net/turnik/icons/icon_puke.gif)
respect is earned not given. maybe we, as JG54, are a little harsh, but not all of us are this way. you seem to enjoy lumping us all together. as a group. yes, we are not without our flaws. however 1 personality does not make an entire group. it just enhances the whole experience. i would suggest valium and a breath of fresh air. maybe you'll feel better.
i for one have alot of fun with everyone of all squads whenever possible. i do find that in the AVA you are of no help to anyone not in your squad. too bad, it would be alot more fun for all if you would be more giving and helpful. i for one, am trying to get into the spirit of the AVA. so far, as XO or whatever you pretend to be, you seem not to care about anyone not in your squad. too bad. it takes away from both my experience and others flying solo. judge not, lest ye be judged.

The wartime airbase system is our road network. Impossible to knock out an airbase which can be located anywhere. This is why swedish fighters are so small, have a 10 min or less turnaround time and stol capability (for a jet fighter anyway). There have been incidents actually where a pilot has landed on the wrong road strip, imagine turning a bend to be met by the landing lights of a jet fighter. Happened again a few years ago, the pilot promptly stopped, turned the a/c around and took off again, in front of the surprised cars. This particular guy didn't make himself popular with his CO. :D

You are lumped as a group, albeit, perhaps not fairly, becuase you have certain members that like to insult others and refer to hemselves as JG54...implying that they speak for all of you. I ranted on this board yesterday during a weak moment and within 10 minutes I received an email from my CO reminding me that my squad comes first and my personal feelings come second when it comes to AH, so I immediately edited my post. All for one and one for all.....so yes, if your command allows your squaddies to spew such garbage, then yes, the entire squad will be viewed that way. Sorry, no hard feelings....but I do not know anyone of you JG54 persoanlly, so I can only determine your personality as a squad as a whole. Post contradicting statements to some of the garbage your squaddies say and you may be viewed differently...until then, if you and your command allows Storch and others to contimue to make complete jerks of themselves, then we will assume you are all talented video game players that are jerks.
My opinion.

OntosMk1. you seem to think way too highly of yourself and appear to be rather paranoid.
People get treated the way they do based on thier own actions.
