Well, things couldn't be too easy now, could they?
Had to do a mirror backup system restore due to damaged registry and windows installer. So far, everything's going fine -- except Track IR. For some reason, its seems like the sensor to software transition is very messed up...so that with very minimal yaw (especially to the left) I'm getting a sudden transition to a spastic input position. It's easier to show than to describe, so here's a couple screenshots. (I've reduced the graphic settings so the TrackIR boxes are larger.)

Notice how very little difference in the box with the green dots (the raw input of the infrared camera) makes huge changes in the postion of multiple input axes (the yellow lines in the graph box) which result in bizarre postions of both the perceived head postion ("Your Head") and the accelerated "in game head." I'm pretty sure the problem is coming from BEFORE the profile is applied, because there is an incredible degree of software perceived "real head" movement in the head on the left even before the profile and acceleration curves get applied. Also, I can't show this without a movie but when I make extraordinarily gradual and gentle movements, the TIR reads those movements slowly until a threshold is reached -- and then the positions snap to those shown as fast as a mousetrap closes.
I've tried going with a variety of profiles, even though the one I've always used was working fine. I also run with TrueView turned off, and even went so far as to uninstall the program and then reinstall from scratch. I have no idea what the problem is...and I hadn't touched the camera setup at all during the mirror restore.
Any thoughts?

When this happens to me I must reposition the pickup?
Distance, angle, lineup..............
And sometimes reload TR?
Get some strange stuff every once in a while, but been a long time since an event.
Do you have the latest version of TR?
Any NEW lights or reflective surfaces behind you?
New Strong light in the room with you?
Could be sooooo many things..............

Newest version downloaded directly from their website, and absolutely no other changes. The pickup is exactly where it was, and there are no light sources to confuse things. (Notice no additional inputs on the "green dot" display.)
Also, if you look at the position of the trio of infrared emitters on the "tracking" display you can see that the system is reading enormous changes in head position when the system's own inputs are not demonstrating those changes. (The Tracking display is not correlating with the "your head" image.)

Disconnect the hook up?
Try the leds first?
Then the pickup?
Wait a bit and hook it back in?
I see what you're talkin about but I'm wondering if some how there isn't some sort of background light causing that strange action?
It suggest that somehow light of some sort is affecting the pickup?
Have you contacted Natural Point?
Have you got a powered hub?
How many ports you got?
What is the USB port driver/version?
Check your power supply output?
And FINALLY have you tried A NEW PROFILE or redone the old one?
You know what I mean? Redo the axis/settings or create a totally NEW one and see if it's somehow a bad/corrupted PROFILE?

Do you have a Track Clip Pro? If so when you edit your profile and go to the Motion tab, do you have Track Clip Pro selected?
