Title: Offline mission problems?
Post by: angelsandair on June 30, 2008, 04:03:03 AM
For some reason, ever since I've gotten the offline missions, I'd finish the first one, then up a 2nd one. And my friendlies/all the planes would explode except me.

Would this be a bug or is there somethign wrong with the missions?

(it did it for the default P-51 mission, it still does)

It's not the missions.  That's as far as I can help.  Very weird problem.

Have you tried deleting the cache and/or re-installing the game?

I'd email Skuzzy or Sudz on that one.  Maybe they can help.

Actually I had the same problem last night no matter what mission I tried. No matter what I did the friendlies would instantly blow up on the runway in the giant sprawling fireball (as if pilot killed) and I never got text, mission waypoints, could not get the mission going.

It was a fresh boot, hadn't gone offline in a long time (but last time I did the missions worked). I tried going to the TA then exiting out like some suggested to fix the missing text from long ago, it didn't help.

Then if I bailed to start over I don't know if it really ended the mission. The drones orbiting the airfields never came back.

Some strange stuff is going on with AH, and it didn't before.

It's been doing that to me since day 1. The only way to get it going again is to close AHII all together.

Very strange.  I fly offline missions nightly before going online and have never had it happen.  Wish I could help.  If it's not Friendly Collisions:on, I have no guess.
