The perk point value shouldn't be based on plane because hitting a target from a B-17 no more difficult than from a JU-88. It's the targets that make a difference. Strat targets located deep in enemy territory should have a higher value than front line bases. Hopefully this would help sway the bomber to its historical role.

I concur, any 3 year old could put a marble in a shot glass from 30k with the lack of geophysic effects acting on bombs that we have, the difficulty in reaching the target should be the biggest factor in points awarded.

Perk points are not based on capability of the machine. They are based on popularity.
The idea is to make flying unpopular aircraft appealing for some reason. This includes bombers.
