I scored 80% and missed a few of the questions about the senators length of term and house of representatives, number of amendments, nothing major but enough to make me mad about not getting 100%.

(weird thing is, she's actually is related to Ben Franklin)

When you go that far back, there's many people related to the famous figures of our history.
As for score, I got a 95%. Though I guessed on the number of years a Senator is elected for. Not the number, but I always get Senate and Congress mixed up. I know the 100 person house serves for 6 years. I know the 435 person house serves for 2. I always forget what they are called though.
I got the chief justice wrong.
-
90 percent. Got the lenght of term for a senator and the number of reps wrong.
But WTF? Is that IT for citizenship?

When did they add those last 4 amendments? Wish I had a lifeline for the 3rd in command one, I was drawing a blank.

You answered 85% of questions correctly. Here's your rating:
0-20%: Maybe you're still thinking too much about the Old Country.
25-40%: Mmmm. Do you really want to be a citizen? This kind of performance isn't going to impress those nice immigration folks.
45-60%: Not too bad, but you really need to break out the civics books again -- word is, the INS is looking for an 80 percent score.
65-80%: Hey, you may make a good citizen yet! Look at your wrong answers and a little revision should do the trick.
85-100%: Welcome to the United States! (And, truth be told, you know more about this great land than most Americans.)
phew!!..
:uhoh
[edit]
the ones I missed..
13. The House of Representatives has how many voting members?
646 is not correct.
435
16. If both the President and Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes President?
Secretary of State is not correct.
The Speaker of the House
20. What did Susan B. Anthony do?
Designed and made the original U.S. flag is not correct.
Fought for women’s rights
-
80% Probably average considering I have been out of school for 40 years.
-
Aced it. Wasn't certain of a couple though.
-
Kiwi it is then. :D
-
65% including some lucky guesses.
Ah well - couple of years before I can apply to be a citizen anyway.
-
90% after one stupid hasty misread and one change of mind that went sour (just the way they tell you NOT to take a test).
-
Could you pass the latest citizenship test?
Don't need to, I'm an American Native, Born and Raised.

95%--(New Hampshire instead of Maine)--Was I the only one that saw leftist bias on the part of question design? (A bit early for Laz to be up yet, so I'll assume the lofty mantle for another hour or 2 :D) Susan B Anthony?? LOL The US education system was devoid of her until the last 20-odd years when the fembots took over, and 'gun-rights' tossed in with life, liberty and pursuit of happiness--not-so-subtly trying to say that the founders didn't guarantee that right

45%
And I'm surprised I scored that high.

I thought I'd do alot worse, considering I've never taken a history class, and I have no idea how that governmental stuff works.

Just for kicks, let's see how well you Americans do on the UK equivalent. Bet the Brits do better on the US test than vice-versa.

That makes more sense.
I was wondering why there would be a holiday dedicated to a violent sport such as boxing right after Christmas. :lol

Don't wait for someone to teach you something. The greatest minds and people in history have been the folks that taught themselves. Be proactive.
