1. Energy Dependance on Oil

We need an energy policy (we don't have one at all now) that diversifies our energy sources to that which is available domestically.

A program to build the following on a massive scale should be undertaken

 a. Nuclear (to replace Oil and Coal fired electrical plants)
 b. Coal (liquification to replace foreign oil)
 c. Wind, Solar, and other emerging Green sources should be maximized
 d. Oil Shale
 e. Domestic Drilling

2. Trade deficit

If we didn't import so much oil, we could cut the deficit in half, but we do need to stimulate the domestic production of products we all use to cut the defict further.

3. Federal Deficit

We need to actually truely cut the size of the federal and probably 98% of state governments.  We need to cut the deficits on the spending side.

4. Illegal Immigration

We need to acknowledge what a country is an does, and that includes inforcement of borders and immigration.

  a. Decide that anyone born here to illegal residents is a citizen of the foreign land the parents are from.
  b. Loss of a business for anyone who is convicted of hiring alien people.  Auction the business off to pay off some of the federal debt.
  c. As speaking and reading the English language is a requisite for voting, no second language ballots or any other government document should be available. (other than teaching languages in school)

5. Health care

We need a system that says, sorry buddy you smoked for 40 years, the cancer cost is on you.  You weigh 400#, the cost of the diabetes you have is on you.

Take some responsibility for your own health.

#2 and #4 are the most important... once the US has more revenue, the rest of it is easier.

I think the best thing that could happen in this country is if we could somehow have less Demorates and Republicans and more Americans.

Rather then presidential candidates knocking each other have some that offer their plan to make positive change.

Completly outlaw lobbyists from our government.

Get rid of NAFTA

And more important then anything else, PAY ATTENTION HERE: While playing Aces High, keep Yanksfan"s six clear at all times, Yanks must live! Say it over and over. "YANKS MUST LIVE!" ....say it.....know it.......live it...... nothing else in the game matters.

thankyou for your attention..... YANKS MUST LIVE!  :D

1.) Socialism.

Pretty much most of the other problems stem from this one problem.

Actually no,
I think bigger problem is small group of people who earn money ripping off their own countryman by outsourcing their jobs/production  to asia. Just o growe their profits to maximum.
So, they are collaborating with commies to rip off honest and hard working people in US.
Some call it capitalism...........

I'm not going to argue economics or history with someone who has never even looked in the general direction of an economics or history book.

I could explain through economics how you don't know your bellybutton from a hole in the ground.  But it would be akin to speaking french to you.  I could point out every single time through history that shows how you're wrong, but you would have no context to reply with.

There is nothing we can do but be rude to you.

Nooo problemo, Ny will soon be under water (parts of it anyhow)
Obesity will be offset by all the local floods this year, not to mention the general food price hike for petrol.
Quality of roads will get better as the amount of cars will get less, note the above price hikes from fuel.

So all in all, i would say your list is becoming more of a reality as the days go by.

Dunno about the road sign issue tho.

Please explain how 2, 4 and 5 of the original list are results of socialism.
