There was 1 guy caught looting by the neighbor, and was promptly arrested. I've lived in Iowa for almost 15 yrs. now, and have found the people of Iowa to be very hard working, loyal, and independent. They help one another and don't stand around waiting for government handouts. They have common sense and don't take undue risks. If the officals warn that the town is going to flood, they pack their belonging up and relocate to higher ground. When it's safe they go back, clean up, and move back in. They don't complain because they know if you live in a flood plain, one day it'll flood.
The movie stars don't come here because we don't want or need the freaks.Reminds me of a news article I read here several years ago.Tiger Woods went to a small tavern here in Iowa and ordered a beer. The bartender asked for his ID and Tiger replyed "I'm Tiger Woods". The bartender said,"i don't care if you're the lion king, i need to see your ID". :lol
