Title: Odd X52 trim axis.
Post by: Motherland on July 06, 2008, 08:50:03 PM
The axis below the slider on my X52 is acting up, the one I happen to have set to rudder. It works fine mostly, except when I have it in the little notch that's center the trim goes all the way to the left. Works fine in any other position, just not dead center.
Ideas?

mine does the same thing. It even does it in the Saitek control panel too. I've been trying to figure it out for months now with no luck. I see CH Products in my future. ;)

If your talking about the "wheel" next to the slid bar, I have mine set to Elevator Trim.

This seems most appropriate for how I fly.  I have the bigger one on top with the "E" button
for aileron trim.

Having said that mine acts up on occasion.  I simply do an in game joystick calibration
and all is well.  MAKE SURE YOU CALIB. EVERYTHING THOUGH.  Takes a minute.

Good luck.

Select the axis in mapcontrols, then calibrate,it seemed to solve the prob for me.

ps: use a good powered usb hub and be sure to plug it into your surge protector.
