Title: Nose art Question
Post by: Jayhawk on March 20, 2001, 07:50:00 PM
This may not be the forum for this but me and my squadies need some assistance with the nose art.....What is the RGB Value for the transparent color? I have tried 127,127,127 with no luck (Still has a gray background). Do I need to adjust my palet for 256 colors? Is there anyway to view this on a plane before uploading in the game? Can you replace the graphic in the squad directory with the working one and see it in the training arena?

176-176-176 is transparent. Set the image to BMP format, 64x64 in size with 256 colors. It'll work perfectly. Stick it in your squads folder and rename it to your online handle; it'll show up in the TA. Use external view to check it, and it'll be there.

Nope, that's just a pic I swiped off some web site. It's a hobby for me; go figure. This pic in my sig was my noseart when I was still online. Stole the idea from a Vietnam patch that pilots used to wear.
