We play a game that simulates war. They laid their lives on the line and deserve our support IMHO. :salute

Looks like it might just be a good organization there. It would be great to have that operating in all 50 states.

I think it's this organization that I heard had one of their homes (still in construction) hit by thieves on the 4th of July. Looks like they do some good stuff (the organization... not the thieves).

That's a pretty good deal there :aok One of the local radio stations here in Hampton Roads (FM-99 WNOR) has organized a bunch of things like this. A local guy who was injured a couple of years ago, IED took off both legs, got a bunch of work done to his house thanks to FM-99. They organized a fund drive and they had contractors, and volunters coming from all over the area to donate funds, material, and time. They spent a month working on this guys house before he got home, renovated the entire place, made it completely wheel chair friendly. Really did a great job and it was all free for the guy.
That was the first big renovation they did, but they have done a bunch more since then.
It's always good to see and read about stuff like this. Kinda renews my faith that not everyone in this country is only out for themselves and that in the grand scheme of things most people do actually care about our vets :salute
