Title: My Son
Post by: RTR on July 09, 2008, 01:41:41 AM
My Son has renewed an interest that was waning here. He just started his 2 week trial, and has been winging with the Old-man (not to be confuse with the Oldman!).

His handle is SMI, don't give him any quarter and call him on his misgivings. However, he is a chip off the old block so I don't anticipate any real trouble. He looks like he will be kick'n my can soon anyway >G>.

He's 22, so still a squeeker, but we tolerate him anyway.

cheers,
RTR

I only started playing so I could spend time with my Father, since he's played for years.  Turns out it's actually an enjoyable game though, so I've stuck around. I hope your son enjoys this with you as much as I've enjoyed this with my own Pops; it's still the nicest feature in the game when I log on & my Father's around. <S> to SMI.

May his first death be at the skilled hands of TexasMom .......  as was mine.
Had no idea what I was doing...was flying around some inlet or cove minding my own business at an altitude of like 5 feet......when all of the sudden I hear this big BANG.........and I see this WHOOOOOOOOOSH fly over me and disapear into the mountains....... ahhhhh.......you never forget your first.

But he is 6'3", lost squeek a long time ago.  I look up to him physically and in skill level.  That's tough on a dad.  :cry

Hah!  The use of irony and sarcasm!

Most excellent diggit, RTR, drag your boy into the AvA for a bit, please.

I have really enjoyed my time flying with sondog. Little bugger got into the first person shooters. He loves BF2 and now it is rare for him to fly in Aces High.  :( I think I am going to tell him hitech is working on some infantry, but only those that land 'X' number of kills a week will get to use them.  :D

From this fathers perspective not much can compare to landing kills with your son. :) I may have to turn to one of his sisters. Maybe take them the con. ;)
