 :salute For some great fights last night with the 49th FG!

ZUD had it in for me it seemed, because everytime I shot a plane down, the next thing I know is ima in the twr going WTF from a tater to the head.  :cry  Makes me envious how accurately he can lob those things  :O

Great fights 49th.

Zud (not a forum user) "lobbed" no taters though last night.  He flew D-9's and 20 mil equipped G-14's.  49th is growing nicely.  Everytime we engage you guys, there are more lightnings in the group.  Way to go!  :salute

Ya know...It makes me really happy to see him doing well in the air now.  Zud is the gentlemen I started the whole Luft only concept with back in Dec, of 05.  He's a good ole southern boy from SC, and up till recently has played AH on barely minimal acceptable equipment, with Frame rates in the teens at best... :huh  He was so discouraged he pretty much just resigned himself to ground pounding.  The universe saw fit to strike his antique set up down with lightning a few weeks ago, forcing him to upgrade.  Now he's having a blast in the air and really making up for lost time.  :aok

Great fight guys, Especially when we attacked that infantry base and you guys came screaming down on us.

<S> to the lighting i was shooting with my last 50 mgs, you were on ZUD, so i decided to risk the ram in order to save ZUD. I died but ZUD was the only plane to make it home from that sortie and it made my night.

As always I enjoy anytime our two squads engage in battle. There's just that little bit extra added drama because of the pride thing. Plus I always see something different and learn somethign when fighting you guys... When I live long enough. :)

Odee and Shifty and the rest a big  :salute  I will try to bring my 613th guys in more often.  We all hate Titanic Tues so I will propose to them we make it AVA Tuesday for the 613th.  Again we had a ton of fun :aok

A big to odee for getting that good fight going last night.  It got a good long interbase fight going and I noticed some new people to AvA having fun with it!

Hell yeah they were!  Bino taught me to not type while fighting JG-11.  I send off a <S> to Tankman and next thing I look back and here's this 109 at like D100 just firing at my canopy.  Talk about having egg on face. LOL

I got insta-towered myself by qrsu (new to ava?); never heard a ping.  I just said "nice shot," and gave him a  :salute.

Fairly new to the game, actually (flying with the 353rd for a month now). I got real lucky on that shot, C-HOG cannons really pack a punch!  :salute

Besides that, I ended up blacking out from the dive and augered :rofl
