Howdy after downgrading from vista to xp I cant find any video drivers that work for my nvidia card. I remember reading somewhere in here there were some generic drivers out there, anyone have a link?

What is the NVidia card model number?
-
video drivers should be on nvideas website or do a google search with your model and word drivers. You will find it.

Oops its NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150. Im running xp on a machine built for vista

From Nvidia's website
The GeForce M series and GeForce Go series notebook GPUs use drivers that have been customized by the notebook manufacturers to support hot key functions, power management functions, lid close and suspend/resume behavior. NVIDIA has worked with some notebook manufacturers to provide notebook-specific driver updates, however, most notebook driver updates must come from the notebook manufacturer. Additionally, the desktop GeForce graphics drivers will not install on Geforce M series and Quadro M series notebook GPU's.
Looks like you're going to need to go your notebook's manufacturer to get the drivers and hope they have a XP version.
ack-ack

If it is a laptop, then you have no recourse but to get the drivers from the manufacturer. If the manufacturer does not supply XP drivers, then you will have no choice but to go back to Vista.
