Title: July KOTH dates.
Post by: fuzeman on July 11, 2008, 08:05:30 PM: July KOTH dates are official and have been posted. They are:

1 ) Friday July 18th @3pm EDT for FriKOTH. First crate will be the F4U-1.
2 ) Saturday the 26th @9pm EDT for SatKOTH. First plane will be the Bf 109F-4.

Hope to see you there for a few hours of great dogfighting.

Post by: kilz on July 17, 2008, 09:11:11 PM: sorry fuze as normal yall are worried about the European time frame which is cool but however i am 4 hours behind yall 3PM my time is 11AM i am still at work untill 8pm yalls time. the next one i off of work right when it starts get home then i have to feed the kid so this is why i have only been able to make it to maybe three KOTHS. a load of fun they are but time wise not going to happen

Thats why we have saturday KOTH at 9EST. to help the European guys. So that would be 5PM for you.

Not entirely correct. Friday KOTH was EuroKOTH before the change and it was supposed to be more Euro friendly time wise.
Saturday KOTH has always been USA time friendly.
If there is enough interest another slot could possibly be arranged, but this would haveto be a consistant attendance and we'd have to find another CM for it.
In the recent past the event was broken and I don't think any more resources would be alocated to it, until it got fixed.

I'm sure after the word got out, there'd be plenty of interest in one (The first few times would probably be smaller). Maybe a "PacKoTH?"

Though, depending on what day of the week you chose, the CM might need an even greater supply of tylenol to deal with all the drunk East coasters coming back from the bars :)
