It would help a whole lot more in the 1 vs. 1s and keep people from getting the satisfaction of ramming you in the furballing parts. I had to redo 3 different 1 vs. 1's because we ended up colliding when 1 was going down and the other up. :aok

Why? It distorts air combat tactics if the participants don't have to worry about colliding. In fact, it becomes a good thing to fly through your target if you can as it is easy to hit from that angle and range.

There's plenty of reasons why not and why too. I'm just stating why I think it should be like that. :aok :aok

Try turning when you see a plane coming directly at you.
-
Angelsandair - how do you think the damage should be modeled if your opponent is firing at you from inside your aircraft?
-
^ what he said.
That's just silly.
That totally allows someone to fly THROUGH your aircraft with guns blazing. NOT a good idea.

Im pretty sure the ketchup will spray, correct?

I was in a 1 vs. 1, both of us were stalling out, I was going down, he was going up, happened 3 times.

Maybe you should try harder then.

Believe it or not (and I can't say I blame you if you've been in the furball area much these days), some of us like to use the DA as a place to get better at this game... What good would dumbing down the arena settings do?
Collissions happen. Learn to avoid most of them, and shrug off and laugh at the ones you can't.
Remember, planes are free. :aok

I would like to learn how to "stall" ... and have my plane fly upwards ... please explain how to do that.

How would you feel taking damage looking at your film and seeing tangles front end view, hmmmmmm?
I know I'd be pretty POed.
Bronk
Edit: This also works nicely for the "none should take damage" people.
Yea I should be able to put the nose of my ac through another.:furious :furious :furious
Look it over and let it sink in.

I think the collisions should stay, turning them off allows unrealistic angles to be gained anyway. If you collide, consider it a stalemate and re-up.
