These fella's bailed out of a Lanc in 1944 and didnt see each other again until now.

Wow, really amazing tale.
But they bailed out of a flyable aircraft over enemy territory. They took a gamble, and I don't know if it paid off.

They bailed out of a damaged aircraft that had lost two engines and losing altitude. I would have jumped even though I would have needed brown pants.
