Title: New Home for 49th Fighter Group
Post by: Shifty on July 16, 2008, 03:14:45 PM
After weeks of hard work Wolfie has finished our new HQ.

The new official squadron website is http://www.49thfg.com/

Once in the menu page you can use the links on the left. Squadron, Operations hut, and Officers Club are available by clicking on the tent or building in the picture.

Thanks Wolfie for all your hard work.

Oh please, don't ever tell me what goes on in the tent with the sheep on the flap......  :uhoh

P.S. I have to take serious issue with the "best viewed with 1440x900" comment and the extreme side scrolling.

What size monitor and resolution you using Krusty? I'm still squashing some bugs on the layout.

Congratulations, gentlemen!

Nice website, quite complete and interesting. Loved the Newsletter Section, read all articles! Just keep an eye on typos...

Way to go!

1280x1024 here.  Sideways scrolling is a design "no no" and does detract from what otherwise is a really nice site.  Websites should be designed to accomodate 1024x768, and is pretty much the standard for professional sites (CNN, etc).   Some still accomodate 800x600, although that is getting pretty rare now.

1280x1024 resolution, but I don't maximize my browswer window. I've got it set a hair larger than it would be if maximized at 800x600.

Most webpages still display best at this size, and it also allows me to have things on the desktop or behind the browser window.
