It's great having a machinegun to shoot back at those birds tryin to strafe out tanks
but could we have it so that when the gun reaches the end of range on the pintle it will traverse the turret? it's a real pain having to hit 2, F3, rotate turret, 3, resume firing
It would kinda be like yelling to the gunner to traverse the turret

I was thinking that you can use rudders to turn the tank when you are in the gunner position. How about rudders turn the turret in the Unbuttoned TC MG Postion!
Viola! A Solution!
HT is this the best idea ever, huh, huh?
(Why am I looking for postive affirmation?)

the rudders will turn the tank while you're on the upper MG
but it's a real pain in the arse to get thrown off course just to take a shot at a plane, especially if you're part of a group.
No way everyone is gonna turn the same to track the bandit

DT is right,, need to be able to traverse the turret while in the commander cupola.
Especially if tank is tracked...
or stopped..

I was thinking exactly the same thing. The rudder pedals could turn the turret when in position 3, turn the tank when in position 2.

While I agree that I'd like to be able to trverse the turret from the cupola MG position I'd also still like to be able to turn the whole tank.
When some aircraft armed with 4 20MM cannon is firing at me I'd rather they were aiming at the nice thick armour at the front (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

i think the auto turning of the turet when you hit the end of gun rotation, or separate rotation butons for the turet.
i would deffinatly like to be able to rotate some how in f3 but i want stearing too so i'd prefer to keep the rudders for stearing.
