Any of ya'll had it?
If ya did, did ya like it over regular Dr Pepper?
I was up that way near Dublin this past weekend and stopped by Doc's soda Shop and had to leave with a case. That stuff is the bomb. Blows regular Dr Pepper away in my opinion. Now I'm bout to go out and hit all the jumk stores looking for old Dr Pepper bottles to get refilled. They will swap you out your old refillable bottles with another case of bottled Dr Pepper. I'd rank Dublin Dr Pepper right up there with Blue Bell in the fact that everything else pales in comparison.

Better than regular U.S. Dr. Pepper? Impossible. Cannot improve on perfection.

If I remember correctly, only that bottling plant still uses real, pure canes sugar, not that cheap asz corn syrup.
Makes an interesting marinate for ribs too.

The place a block away from me advertises that they serve dublin. I've never given it a second though to try it though.
I am a true pepper... so it'll be hard to convince me that dublin is better. I'll give it a shot next time I'm up in that direction. :)

Dublin,Texas Dr. Pepper is supposed to be the "original recipie" Dr. Pepper made with pure cane sugar like Wabbit pointed out.

Ummmmm...wellll......ya see from what they said at the bottling planet, the original Dr Pepper was made with pure sugar cane sugar. Something about some sugar embargo with cuba or something like that forced the bottleing companies to change to the high fructose corn syrup because it was cheaper and more readily accessable. The owners of the Dublin Dr Pepper bottling company at the time made a batch with the real sugar and a batch with the corn syrup. The management and staff all prefered to stay true to their product. They decided to keep making it with pure cane sugar. So in my opinion the dublin Dr Pepper is the true pepper. At least in the sense that it has the original sweetner intended to compliment the 23 flavors mix that makes the base of Dr Pepper.
So like earlier today I was getting a Dr Pepper for a buddy and all I could think was "Poser". My buddy who has had the Dublin Dr Pepper as well said that its to sweet for him and he prefers the corn syrup stuff. So not everybody will like the Dublin mix, but I do think its worth tryin.

If you pay attention you can find "Dublin" DP in 16oz plastic bottles some convenience stores in Texas. They are shaped differently that regular DP bottles and have the Imperial Sugar logo. You CAN taste the difference using pure cane sugar makes. It's the shizznit! :rock
I still prefer the glass bottles over plastic.

 I just orded a case, its $15 for 24 cans with shipping. I have never heard of this, but I have had Coca Cola that was made with real sugar and its way better!! So the pepper must rule! :rock

Love the stuff. Fortunately there's a specialty pop shop up in Vancouver WA that sells it, so I can buy a 6-pack now and then. Definitely beats regular Dr. Pepper.
I recently had a Coke with real sugar (imported from Mexico), and didn't like it as compared to regular Coke. Though, I'm not much of a Coke fan either way.

Ehh... Only thing you gotta remember is to not drink it and then do something that takes alot of energy. It'll feel like somebody hit you in the stomach w/ a base ball bat...

Never heard of it. Sounds interesting. Pity you can't get it in the original Dublin, Ireland. It's hard enough to get Dr Pepper here anyway.

Hey Wrag interestingly enough they actualy had a sign printed up that said something along the lines of " Contrary to popular belief, Dr Pepper never contained prune juice". I had a good chuckle when I read it.
Now the big thing I have yet to do cause I just cant bring myself to do it, is to drink it warm. They had old signs in their museum advertising to try it hot with lemon. One of the girls giving the tour said she drinks it that way when she has a cold and that it is really good. I used hot coke to clean out mineral deposits from a coffee machine once and the hot sweet smell kinda made me sick to my stomach. Because of that I just cant bring myself to try it anytime soon.

Bottled DrPepper has always been carbonated. It has never contained prune juice. It has never been a laxative, aphodesiac, pesticide, paint thinner or anythingelse other than a soft drink.
