Title: The Minsi

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone had any background information on the Hellcat flown by Cmdr. David McCampbell off the Essex, named 'The Minsi' and subsequently II and III.  I'm just looking for any info on sorties, kills and possible source of the name.

Thanks, pardon the pun, but don't know how that one slipped under the radar. I knew he had a lot of kills but cool link.  Not home now so not much time to look into it.
