Title: Aces High Movie - The First Sortie
Post by: Talon07 on July 22, 2008, 10:46:40 PM
Hey Guys
I finally got around to making my first aces high film. I've emailed Fulmar to get the details to put it on the aceshighmovies website. Should be up in the next couple of days. I'll post a link here when it's up.

Great job on your first film!

It looked good!

Being picky, your vox was a tad too loud, try keeping your vox volume the same as your music volume, just learn to lower your music volume temporarily during vox transmissions if possible.  Great sound effects btw!  Loved them!  Great font choice and loved the music.

As for the story, great job on telling your story!  Your ending was a tad long and wished you would have added more video of you flying home instead of using up time to match the song with just text.

Great job! :aok :aok

Nice work Claw!  :aok

One thing I try not to do while in the film viewer is moving the view sliders around while recording a shot... Best thing to do is set up the angle of the shot first (Everything you want in frame), and record it. Then take a second angle if it didn't come out right... It's a tedious process to say the least, but the quality of film direction is way better... Also the credits are nice, but more action the better, as most here would probably agree.

Nice music choice, and I didn't mind the vox. It didn't seem too loud on my end, and adds dimention to the film...

It only gets more addictive from here on out, so keep up the good work!
